Within the framework of our project we had a visit from a professional delegation from the Democratic Republic of Congo. After our visit to the Saxon Textile Research Institute (STFI) Markus Michael and Sophie Karl accompanied the delegation to the Fraunhofer IWU in Chemnitz. Dr.-Ing. Ulrike Beyer gave the participants an insight into the Fraunhofer IWU and its research projects. Of particular interest was of course the joint hydrogen project H2HyTrA. Afterwards Mr. Liebold presented the work of the IHK Chemnitz. After the exciting presentations and a look into the hydrogen window as well as the workshops of the research institute, a lively exchange took place between the Congolese ministry representative, us, the employees of the IHK Chemnitz, as well as the Fraunhofer IWU. We thank our partners for their hospitality and look forward to the next joint activities.
