In line with our mission to implement sustainability across all issues, an important visit to South Africa took place recently. Markus Michael, in collaboration with Tom Leslie Mikus from NOW GmbH, met with Marlene Whitehead from HOPE Cape Town to discuss exciting opportunities for cooperation in the areas of education and training for children and young people as well as decentralized energy supply.
Our involvement in these projects is a key part of our strategy to drive sustainable development and contribute our expertise in project development. We are making a key contribution to sustainable cooperation between Germany and African countries, particularly as part of the HyTrA hydrogen microgrid project, which we are carrying out together with our partner Fraunhofer IWU.
We would like to thank Joerg G. Fieback for arranging this valuable contact. This exchange underlines our ambition to develop and implement innovative solutions for education and renewable energy sources that have a positive impact both locally and globally.
